  1. The certified vegan products company should apply for renewal of this certificate alongside with all supporting documents to the Vegan Certification Committee before the expiry of this current certificate by one month (30 days).
  2. The application must be accompanied by a late fee of Rs.100 per day for each day of delay if the application is filed beyond 30 days but before the last date.
  3. If the renewal application is not submitted before the stipulated time, the certificate becomes expired and the Food Business Operator starts applying for a new one so that the business can continue.
  4. The Vegan Certification Committee will go through the application and all the documents submitted with the aim of determining whether they are compliant with the vegan standards.
  5. In case of successful renewal the Food Business Operator shall be issued the renewed Vegan Certificate which shall be valid for 1 to 5 Years as desired by the Food Business Operator from the date of issue.

  7. FSSAI Vegan Certificate Renewal Fees

    • The renewal fee for a Vegan Certificate is 5,000 INR per year. This fee must be paid annually to renew the Vegan Certificate.
    • The Vegan Certificate is valid for 1 year and must be renewed before the expiration date. If the renewal is done within 30 days after the expiration date, a late fee of 100 INR per day is charged.
