How to Apply for RCMC Registration with WWEPC
Three essentials must be with the applicant before the WWEPC application can be filed: an active IEC, an updated IEC profile on the DGFT portal, and a valid DSC or Aadhaar e-Sign linked to the DGFT account. The system runs a check on each before letting the application progress.

Once the fee is cleared, the Declaration is accepted, the Application Summary is reviewed, and the applicant rounds off the application with a DSC or Aadhaar e-Sign before final submission.
- WWEPC Verification and Issuance of the Digital RCMC: WWEPC takes up the application for review. The Council, established in 1964 under the Ministry of Textiles, checks the business credentials, IEC and GST records, wool product list with ITC (HS) Codes, supporting documents, and fee payment. Where clarification is needed, WWEPC posts a query through the portal, which the applicant resolves before re-submission. Once approved, the RCMC is published on the DGFT dashboard, in around 7 to 10 working days. RCMC lifespan stretches anywhere from 1 to 5 financial years, counted from 1 April of the issuance year up to 31 March of the fifth year, regardless of the actual month of issue.

2. WWEPC-Specific Documents

- Photocopy of the Import-Export Code (IEC) duly attested by the exporter (specifically required by WWEPC for RCMC purposes)
- Photocopy of SSI Registration or UDYOG Aadhaar / UDYAM Certificate, mandatory for Manufacturer Exporters (not required for Merchant Exporters)
