Become a Member of Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC)

CEPC stands for Carpet Export Promotion Council. It's an organization established by the Government of India, Ministry of Textiles, in order to promote and develop the export of carpets and other floor coverings from India. The council plays a crucial role in enhancing the global presence of Indian carpets by supporting exporters through various initiatives such as product innovation, market research, quality improvement, skill development, and international collaboration. It also provides a platform for small and medium enterprises to connect with global buyers and expand their business reach.

CEPC works closely with the carpet manufacturers and exporters to develop new markets and improve the quality of Indian carpets, as well as providing information and assistance with export regulations and compliance. It helps merchants export their products and gain access to the international market.

CEPC also organizes participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions, and provides promotional and marketing support to members. The council also works closely with other organizations and government departments to provide support to the carpet industry and exporters.

To become a member of the carpet export promotion council the interested applicants need to apply for the registration cum membership certificate of CEPC. The registration can be done through an online portal. Applicants are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria as well as are required to provide enlisted documents for the registration.

Eligibility for the CEPC membership

1. Manufacturer exporter of carpet
2. Any new exporter of carpet can apply
3. Merchant Exporter having exports worth more than 50 lakh
