Goa Pollution Control Board Registration & Consent Certificate Guide

The Goa State Pollution Control Board is tasked with enforcing the laws regarding protecting the environment in Goa. Goa State Pollution Board has been working to control and prevent water and air pollution in the state. Authorization for BioMedical waste

Suitable for medical centers and clinics treating more than 1000 patients per month. Until a shared biomedical waste treatment and disposal facility is available, it is preferable to dispose of waste on the premises. under no circumstances should biomedical waste or municipal solid waste be combined with the annual return form II that needs to be submitted to the board.

Registration under the Plastic Manufacture and Usage Rules, 1999

For the collection, segregation, transportation, storage, processing, and disposal of municipal solid waste, municipal corporations, and municipal councils are responsible.

• Landproof
• Detailed flow chart, production process, and project report for projects costing five crores and above
• A duly authorized individual must sign the schematic sketch of the proposed sewage treatment plant (ETP/STP), septic tanks, and soak pit as well as the comprehensive design calculation.
• Layout plan showing the location of machinery, water supply/drainage lines, chimneys
• Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and final discharge point, sludge solid waste disposal points, and septic/ soak pit or tank details
• Site plan ( not required for units to be set up in industrial estates)
• Technical approval for the residential project from the Town and Country Planning Department.
• Site plan displaying the residential area, public places, water stream, etc. that are within a 5-kilometer radius of the factory site.
• Original authorisation letter
• A Copy of the Environmental Clearance report, form, EIA report, or any other survey any other survey (if required).
• A Photocopy of the Prior Environmental Clearance (EC) that the responsible authority has issued, if any.
• Certificate from Chartered Accountant certifying the total investment
• Previous consent issued by the board in case of renewal of consent/expansion (if possible)
• Any changes/ modifications in the industry after the consent is obtained (renewal application)
• Stack analysis report/analysis report of treated effluent/sewage (for renewal application)
• Form V of Environment Statement ( for Consent to operate renewal)
• Any other document as per the requisition by GSPCB

The categorization processes have been primarily based on the scale of the industries and resources consumption, and pollution from the release of pollutants and effluents, as well as its anticipated influence on health, hasn't been thought of as the main factor. The purpose of classifying industries into Red, Orange, Green, and White was to determine the best locations for these businesses. Any industrial sector's Pollution Index, or PI, is a number between 0 to 100, and the higher the PI value, the greater the pollution from that sector.
