Every scanner must be tested in a laboratory approved by BIS, submit documentation, and register with BIS to receive BIS CRS Registration. Following approval, a special BIS registration number is given to the importer or manufacturer, which needs to be displayed on the product and its packaging.

• Authorized Indian Representative and Affidavit (In case of Foreign Manufacturer)
• Trademark Authorisation Letter, in case the brand, is not owned by the manufacturer
• If the signatory person is other than the head of the manufacturing facility, then submit the Authorisation Letter

Note : The aforementioned Fees is exclusive of GST.

Foreign Manufacturers and Non-MSME entities are required to pay an additional fee of ₹ 10,000 for their BIS CRS application.
