  • For both Union Territories, the pollution control committee of Daman & Diu is mandated to control the import of non-ferrous materials

Registration Process of the Daman and Diu Pollution Control Committee

The following is the procedure for getting a consent certificate:

Step 1: Filing the consent application

The Manufacturer must first register with the Pollution Control Committee of Daman & Diu. After registration, the applications for Consent Certificates are submitted with the required documents and applicable fees.

Step 2: Inspection of premises

The authorized staff of the Pollution Control Committee of Daman & Diu makes a required site visit after receiving both applications for Consent certificates in order to compile an in-depth report.

Step 3: Grant of certificate

After the report is reviewed by the PCC of Daman & Diu, consent certificates are granted to the manufacturer for establishing and operating the unit.

The organization managing the hazardous waste needs to submit an application on Form 1 to the Daman & Diu Pollution Control Committee in order to be authorized.
