Applicants are required to provide above mentioned details as well as required documents as per the guidelines of plastic waste management for Brand owners.
Note: Once the application is filled, it takes up-to 15 days for licensing authority to respond and proceed further with the EPR registration procedure.
After the successful registration with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Applicant is obligated to execute an EPR action plan to fulfill their annual EPR target for the specific year.
As per guidelines, The brand owners must meet their EPR responsibilities by ensuring that the waste undergoes processing through authorized plastic waste processors. Brand owners are required to obtain certificates from these processors, indicating the quantity of waste processed by them.

Micro and small MSMES are exempted from getting an CPCB EPR registration and are not required to meet EPR targets. However it is also a social responsibility to keep plastic waste generation at minimum for a better future and environment.
