Material safety data sheets, or MSDS is a documents that contain details of dangerous materials. They provide details about the physical, chemical, and biological risks associated with a certain substance or product.
Workers, customers, exporters, and importers are required to have an MSDS certificate. As per the guidelines of OSHA for work place safety and hazard protection.
MSDS certificate is also required by the exporter of dangerous goods and manufacturers. However it is not required to obtain an MSDS certificate from a testing laboratory. Therefore merchants, and manufacturers can obtain it from any authority.

NOTE: As per UN guidelines, every packaging of hazardous products or products made by chemicals/hazardous substances should ensure UN MARK IIP Certificate before exporting to UN members.
