An organization under the Government of India that has got ISO 9001-2008 certification is NSIC Certificate in Kerala. The NSIC was established to aid in and promote the growth of small, micro, and medium-sized companies. They expire after the first six months and must be renewed. They are valid for two years. In Kerala, the following list of documents must be provided in order to receive an NSIC Certificate:

• Self-attested Udyog Adhaar Memorandum number and PAN Copy.
• Electricity bill of the month.
• List of the quality control equipment.
• Copy of the Certificate from proprietor, director, and partner whether or not they have any large-scale unit.
• Electricity Bill
• Ownership of the plant & machinery, equipment, raw materials, and tools.
• Giving details about the financial status in the Banker Report.
• Ownership of the business premises’ Documents.
• Schedule of Revenue, Balance sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Schedule of financial assets,
• Declaration.
• Showing the results of the business's operations over the last three years.
• Premise’s document of the ownership or rent deed or lease deed.

• The NSIC Certificate is valid for the single-point registration scheme for two years after the registration date.
• A provisional registration certificate is valid for one year.

• A 50% reduction is provided on the MSME Renewal charge, which is dependent on net sales volume.
• It must be completed two years prior to the end of the 6-month renewal period.

The following conditions must be satisfied in order to be eligible for the NSIC Certificate in Kerala

• The offering of commercial and technical services to a variety of government agencies, including the PSU, the military, the federal and state governments, the railroads, and others.
• The business has been operating for a whole year.
• Investments totaling 25 lakhs in plant and machinery and 10 lakhs in the service sector for all micro-enterprises.
• All small businesses will invest 2 lakhs in the services sector and 5 lakhs in equipment and plant.
• Eligible enterprises must possess cutting-edge commercial and technological capabilities in order to provide services to various government departments, including the defense, railroads, PSUs, and central and state government departments.
• Micro and small Enterprises (MSEs) that have a Udyog Adhaar Memorandum (UAM) and workshops that are either leased or workshops themselves can register.

In order to supply services to various government departments, such as the defense, railroads, PSUs, and central and state government departments, eligible firms must have advanced commercial and technological capabilities.
