This is also called Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

The primary objective of the NSIC is to provide combined services like technology, finance, marketing, and other allied services to promote the MSME Sector.

There are many objectives of the NSIC Certificate which are mentioned below -

• NSIC seeks to aid or advance small-scale enterprises by offering a variety of services, including financial assistance, marketing assistance, technology advancement, and more.

• This could be a department or organization in charge of maintaining the confidentiality, precision, and security of a computer network. They might be in charge of implementing security measures, managing incidents, and keeping an eye on prospective cyber threats.

In Uttar Pradesh, the following list of documents must be provided in order to receive an NSIC Certificate:

• Self-attested Udyog Adhaar Memorandum number and PAN Copy.
• Ownership of the plant & machinery, equipment, raw materials, and tools.
• Documents of the Ownership of the business premises.
• Balance sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Schedule of Revenue, and Schedule of financial assets,
• Copy of the declaration.
• Copy of the Electricity bill of the month.
• Copy of the Certificate from proprietor, director, and partner whether or not that has any large-scale unit.
• Giving details about the financial status in the Banker Report.
• List of the quality control equipment
• Showing the results of the business's operations over the last three years.
• Showing the results of the business's operations over the last three years.
• Premise’s document of the ownership or rent deed or lease deed.
• Copy of BIS license, if applicable.
• Copy of ISO 9000

The validity of the NSIC Certificate in Uttar Pradesh is 2 years and the validity for the provisional certificate is one year.

• Under Single Point Registration Provisional Registration Certificate is granted after one year from the beginning of the business with a monetary limit of 5 lakhs.

• A 50% reduction is provided on the MSME Renewal charge, which is dependent on net sales volume.
• It must be completed two years prior to the end of the 6-month renewal period.

The following are the requirements for eligibility for the NSIC Certificate in Uttar Pradesh as mentioned below -

• One year is completed from the commencement of the business.
• Having an MSME Certificate.
• Small Enterprises- Having investment in Plant and Machinery up to 50 crores.
• Medium Enterprises- Having investment in Plant & Machinery up to 25 Lakhs.
• Micro Enterprises- Having investment in Plant & Machinery is 5 Crores.
