• Center-Based Models: In such business models, online entities act as mediators between consumers and retailers. All orders are verified and authenticated by retailers and dispatched to consumers.
• Generic e-commerce Marketplace: Preexisting marketplaces, such as Flipkart, where consumers can directly purchase medicines that are not prohibited for sale under D &C rules.

• Minimum space of at least 100 sq ft (approximately 10 sq.m) is required for a physical shop
• If applying for both retail AND wholesale from the same premises, minimum 15 sq.m (approximately 150 sq ft) is required
• The qualified pharmacist must hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) degree from a recognised institution and must be registered with the Delhi Pharmacy Council
• Must have a full-time qualified pharmacist or a competent person (Absence of the pharmacist during inspection is a primary reason for rejection)
• Proof of premises
• Blueprint of premises
• Invoice for all necessary types of equipment
