Primary documents required for AYUSHEXCIL RCMC Registration include:

To obtain a new AYUSHEXCIL RCMC from Ayush Export Promotion Council, applicants are required to pay a registration fee ranging from ₹5,900 (inclusive of 18% GST) to ₹25,960. DGFT has formally designated AYUSHEXCIL under paragraph 2.04 of FTP 2023 as one of the recognized authorities for issuing non-preferential certificates with immediate effect. The certificate is a critical document for exporters to certify the origin of their goods when they do not qualify for tariff benefits under any preferential trade agreement.

RCMC (Registration –Cum-Membership-Certificate) is a mandatory document for Indian exporters seeking to get benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy. The certificate validates that an Indian exporter is registered with government certified Export Promotion Council (EPC), Commodity Board, or Development Authority recognized by the Government. AYUSHEXCIL RCMC is issued on a financial year basis and can be taken for one to five financial years. Validity starts from 1 April of the year and ends on 31 March of the final year regardless of the month in which it was issued. How to Renew your AYUSHEXCIL RCMC?

AYUHSEXCIL RCMC is renewed in the same way as a fresh application. Applicants need to pay membership fees and submit the details of the renewal fees paid directly to the council.

RCMC should be renewed before 31 March to avoid any interruptions in availing export benefits. Keeping the certificate valid ensures uninterrupted eligibility for schemes like RoDTEP, EPCG, and Advance Authorization.

Without a valid RCMC from the Ayush Export Promotion Council, an exporter of AYUSH products effectively loses access to the trade benefits the registration unlocks. The main consequences are:

• No export incentives: Exporters cannot claim Foreign Trade Policy benefits such as RoDTEP, EPCG or Advance Authorisation, since a valid RCMC is the eligibility condition for most of these schemes.
