They are also eligible for 80% of the monthly emoluments of two technical staff for two years from the date of completion of the laboratory.
  4. For organizing all-India level seminars, workshops, fairs, and exhibitions for the food processing industry, grant-in-aid is extended at 50% of the cost of the event or maximum Rs 5 lakhs.
  5. All eligible new industrial units and existing industrial units on their substantial expansion located anywhere in the state will be eligible for reimbursement of 100% insurance premium on insurance of building and Plant & Machinery for a maximum period of 5 years from the date of commencement of commercial production/operation.
  6. For setting up of integrated post-harvest handling system (pack houses with any two or more of the following facilities:
    • Mechanized handling facilities such as assorting, grading, washing, waxing, ripening, packaging & palletization, and more.
    • Pre-cooling facilities with proper handling systems as well as cold storage for storing.
    • Facilities for treatment such as fumigation, X-ray screening and other screening/detection equipment, hot water dip treatment, and Water softening Plant - will be provided 40% of the cost subject to a ceiling of Rs 75 lakh per beneficiary.
