- An additional 5% of the sanctioned grant will be awarded to film producers who shot the film for a minimum of seven days in shooting locations in the hilly areas of the State, as per determined T&C by the Council.
- To encourage filmmakers to shoot more in the State, the Council will grant subsidies for the location of Reiki. The Council will allow 50% rebate on residential facilities in Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, State guest houses, and hotels empanelled under the Information Department of Uttarakhand. Reimbursement of such rebate will be given directly to film producers.
- A subsidy of 30% or up to Rs. 5 lakhs, whichever is less, on the amount spent on recce of shooting locations, will be granted. Selection of such new shooting destinations will be done by the Council in consultation with the Tourism Department of Uttarakhand. Film producers interested in this grant will have to obtain permission from the Council before Reiki.
- In order to qualify for the grant for Reiki, 90% of total expenses must be paid through bank, cheque, online medium, internet banking, UPI, digital mediums, and more. Cash transactions are strongly discouraged. It will only be permitted in unavoidable circumstances on the Chartered Accountant's certification. Provided that, in any case, the total cash expenditure shall not be allowed to exceed more than 10% of the total expenditure.

- If an international-level documentary is made in India and 50% of the shooting or 50% screen time of the total film is of locations where it was shot in Uttarakhand, then 50% of the expenses incurred in the State or up to Rs. 15 Lakh, whichever is less, may be granted.
- In order to be eligible for the provision of additional grant, technicians are required to have their domicile in Uttarakhand. In such a case, the combined actual payment to a maximum of 5 eligible technicians or up to Rs 10 lakhs, whichever is less, will be granted. Decision of the Council on the eligibility and entitlement will be final.
- The film producer of regional dialect films shall receive only one-time reimbursement equivalent to 20% of the fee, or Rs up to 5 lakhs, whichever is less, in exchange for a single broadcast on DoorDarshan Uttarakhand or any other channel.
- Film units shall receive a 50% discount on accommodations at Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, State government guest houses, and hotels empaneled under the Information department of Uttarakhand, and the reimbursement of this discounted amount shall be issued directly by the Council to the respective guest houses/hotels.
