• Step 1: Apply Online for B&B Registration: For registering a bed & breakfast(B&B), the first step is to register with the Tourism Board of Rajasthan. Basic details such as name, address, DOB, mobile number, email, etc, are required to fill. After that, OTP Authentication is required via the applicant’s mobile number.
• Step 2: Upload Documents: The next step is to upload all the required documents along with location details. These documents must be self-attested by the applicant. These can be submitted in the JPEG or PDF format. Applicants may need to hire a consultant for that.
• Step 3: Submit Fee: After the submission of documents, a registration fee needs to be paid depending on the type of category you want to register for, either gold or silver. Some accepted payment modes include UPI, Netbanking and debit/credit cards.
• Step 4: Track Status: Once the application is submitted, a number will be provided via email to track the application status. For registration, all the documents should be self-attested by the applicant. The typical review time for an application can range from 15-30 days.
• Step 5: Physical Inspection of B&B: After the documents are checked by the applicant, there will be a physical inspection of the B&B. The officials will check the claims made by the applicant. This is the final stage, and after this, the B&B owners will be issued the Registration Certificate.

There are a few Guidelines based on which a B&B can be established in Rajasthan. The application for B&B will be accepted if:

• If there is a minimum of one room with two beds and a maximum of eight rooms, the number of beds should not exceed 24.
